MÉXICO SKY CHALLENGE

El México Sky Challenge (MSC) surge de la unión de dos prestigiosos organizadores: Xtrail México y Trail Run Hidalgo. Juntos, han organizado una competencia que permite a los amantes del Sky Running desafiar sus límites y disfrutar de experiencias únicas en los   cielos de México.

Esta competencia no es solo una carrera más, sino una de las 23 competencias mundiales del circuito Merrell Skyrunner® World Series, que se llevarán a cabo en 2025  para definir al campeón mundial de Sky. Atrae a corredores intrépidos y rápidos, ansiosos por alcanzar la distinción de ser los mejores del mundo en su disciplina.

EQUIPO OBLIGATORIO 52 y 35 K 

• Teléfono móvil: con la batería totalmente cargada, roaming activado y encendido durante toda la prueba. 

• Manta térmica: superficie mínima que cubra el cuerpo por completo. 

• Chaqueta rompevientos: impermeable y transpirable.

• Silbato: el de la mochila 

• Botellas, depósito o bolsa (tipo “soft flask”) para agua o bebidas hidratantes: con capacidad mínima de 1.5 litros. 

• Vaso o contenedor para líquidos: en los puntos de abasto no habrá vasos desechables con el fin de evitar generar basura; 

• Número (dorsal) de competidor: colocado en forma visible, al frente y por encima de la ropa durante toda la prueba.

• Calzado: adecuado para correr en terrenos técnicos de montaña.

Atención corredores:

Habrá revisión de material obligatorio de forma aleatoria, tanto al recoger tu kit como al ingresar al corral de salida. Asegúrate de estar preparado y contar con todo lo necesario.

NOTA: En caso de clima adverso, se activará obligatoriamente el equipo recomendado.

IMPORTANTE: En caso de abandono, descalificación o llegar después del corte de tiempo, el número de corredor será retirado y/o marcado.

Bienvenido al circuito Sky Runner World Series. Dado que es un circuito internacional, todas las inscripciones se realizan en el mismo sitio.

A continuación, te proporcionamos una guía paso a paso y consejos sobre cómo realizar correctamente tu registro e inscripción.

Consejos:

• La página sport rocker es una web pensada en la experiencia del deportista al crear tu cuenta, busca dar seguimiento y ayudarte a tener la mejor experiencia. Su proceso es distinto, pero una vez la utilices seguramente la disfrutaras al máximo. Sport Rocker pertenece es parte de la empresa Deporprivé con quien podrás acceder a la gama de productos deportivos en línea más grande del país y con mejores precios , eso entre muchas otras cosas más. 

• Si planeas pagar a través de transferencia y no con tarjeta. Recuerda que este proceso requiere que envíes correo y que posteriormente completes tu registro. Revisa bien las instrucciones que te enviaremos después de que envíes tu comprobante.

Paso a paso:

5. Agrega al carrito tu producto y confirma tu compra.

6. Realiza tu pago. 

7. Recibirás un correo electrónico confirmando tu inscripción. Ingresa ahora y completa tu registro.

MÉXICO SKY CHALLENGE

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT FOR 52K AND 35K

• Mobile phone: Fully charged, roaming activated, and turned on throughout the race.

• Thermal blanket: Large enough to cover the entire body.

• Windproof jacket: Waterproof and breathable.

• Whistle: Built into the backpack.

• Water bottles, reservoir, or hydration pack: Minimum capacity of 1.5 liters.

• Reusable cup or liquid container: To reduce waste, disposable cups will not be provided at aid stations.

• Race bib: Must be visible and worn at the front over clothing at all times during the race.

• Footwear: Suitable for technical mountain terrain.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT AT ALL TIMES:

• Trekking poles for mountain sections.

ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT:

• Headlamp: Fully functional with charged batteries.

• Neck gaiter or bandana.

• Sunglasses.

• Sunscreen.

• Electrolytes, energy bars, gels, fruits, etc.

• Mini first-aid kit: Bandages, antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, and painkillers.

• Backpack: Adequate for the required materials and pace.

• Gloves.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Mandatory equipment will be randomly checked during bib pick-up and before entering the starting corral. Be prepared with all required items.

Note: In case of adverse weather, recommended equipment may become mandatory.

IMPORTANT: If you withdraw, are disqualified, or exceed the cutoff time, your race bib will be removed and/or marked.

Since this is an international circuit, all registrations are managed through the same website. Below, we provide a step-by-step guide and tips to correctly register and complete your inscription.

Tips:

• The Sport Rocker platform is designed with athletes in mind. When creating your account, you’ll find tools to help you track your activities and ensure the best experience. While the process may differ from other platforms, you’ll enjoy using it.

• If you plan to pay via bank transfer instead of a card, remember this process requires you to email proof of payment and then complete your registration. Carefully follow the instructions sent after submitting your receipt.
